- Feed-through design with no series impedance
- SAD technology provides low let-through voltage
- No crowbar components yields high impulse reset current
- Withstands largest surges in IEC and Telcordia specifications
- LED indicator visually verifies correct polarity and installation
ACData's innovative DCBH was initially designed to protect fiber-to-copper conversion electronics in NIUs.
This versatile series of DC power and signal protectors provide heavy-duty surge capability with low let-through voltage for DC power and signal circuits up to 10 A.
The DCBH utilizes low clamping silicon avalanche diodes (SADs) to provide high capacity protection for 24 and 48 V DC applications. Terminal blocks allow for easy field installation, and a green LED provides visual verification of polarity and installation status.
The all solid-state clamping design eliminates the impulse reset current considerations common with crowbar designs.
